HOTEL PROVERBS Taipei, a Design Hotels™ member and Marriott® International partner, is created by internationally renowned designer Ray Chen with classical and contemporary aesthetics to embody refined luxury and serene sophistication that makes it an unmistakable presence in the city. 

With its distinctive design, just-right meticulous service, and encounters with the city’s contemporary culture, the hotel delivers constant surprises that expresses the passion for elevated living and the essence of modern aesthetics.

Origin of the Name — HOTEL PROVERBS

Inspired by Spanish painter Goya’s etching series “Los Proverbios”, called “Yan Yu” in Madarin, that portrays the many aspects of human beings and the wisdom life has to offer. The designer translated its spirit into space to have 42 stories life unfold in 42 guestrooms everyday, and also kept the warmth of human connections to invite travelers to write their own stories over time.
